Surgical procedures were performed to remove a tumor from the mouth and lower jaw
The lymph nodes from the neck were removed due to the presence of tumors. The lower jaw was then reconstructed using metal plates, and a graft was taken from the left arm. Microscopic surgery was used in the reconstruction of the lower jaw and the floor of the mouth. The last image shows the patient three months after the surgery, having returned to their normal life. The surgical team that performed the operation was led by Professor Dr. Kamal El-Sharqawi, with assistance from Dr. Ahmed Desouki, an expert in microsurgery, and the anesthesia team, under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Maboud.
